Maevia originates from a small centuries-old clan called the “Zolani clan.” The majority of the Zolani Clan members are pacifist healers and psychic practitioners, known for their unique ability to calm and heal others through their soothing presence and empathetic nature and the abilities to perceive and manipulate emotions.The Zolani are viewed as the weakest clan due to the fact that they solely use their abilities to heal and are reluctant to engage in conflicts or battles. They practice 'turning the other cheek' and believe in resolving disputes through peaceful means. This has earned the Zolani many negative stereotypes and misconceptions among other clans, who often underestimate their strength and resilience. Their strength is not shown physically but through mental and emotional fortitude.Within the clan, the most notable and rare gift that the Zolani can possess is the Pacifying Eyes. It is a gift where the user is born with eyes that are able to bring an individual to their most peaceful state with just a single gaze. Maevia is currently the only known Zolani with this unique gift, which was passed down from her mother, who was also rumored to have possessed the Pacifying Eyes, and the one who taught her how to control the eyes and use them for positive, healing, and therapeutic purposes.Currently, Maevia works at Jujutsu High as its new therapist to help both students and even staff members navigate their own unique challenges and struggles, all while continuing to hone her skills and knowledge to better serve those in need.
